Investing in older stock

Issues around older stock will be a key focus for GWSF this year.

At an initial meeting of a new network group members identified several major challenges including concerns around CCHAs’ own stock, mixed tenure and fully private stock. See the key points raised in the note of the meeting here

Going forward the Forum will gather evidence from members on the scale of the problem, across all existing stock, and across all LA areas which our members operate in. This evidence will subsequently inform our campaign and policy work on the subject both locally and nationally.

Practical Guidance on Effective Financial Management for Committee Members

This is the first in a series of practical guidance booklets on different aspects of governance , jointly produced by GWSF and SHARE. See the booklet here
